How Orme OS finds the people in a buying decision
Outreach to a single contact stalls when that person does not own the budget or changes jobs. How Orme finds the buying group from an account's own website before first contact, and from email and meetings once a deal is live.

Short answer
Before first contact, Orme reads the team and leadership pages on the account's own website, keeps a name and title only with a quote checked against the page, and sorts people by seniority and function against the personas you sell to. Once a deal is live, Orme OS picks up the people who appear in its email threads and meetings.
Why does outreach to a single contact stall?
#Because one person rarely buys alone. The contact who replied may not own the budget, may not be the one who has to use the product, and may change jobs halfway through the deal. When the record holds one name per account, all of that surfaces late, usually as a deal that goes quiet.
Where does Orme find people before the first email?
#On the account's own website. The team, leadership and about pages of most B2B companies name the people who run each function. Orme fetches those pages, extracts each name and title together with the sentence it appears in, and checks that quote against the page before keeping it. A title the page does not state is not recorded.
How does Orme decide who matters in an account?
#Titles are classified by seniority and by function, then checked against the personas you sell to, including the roles you do not want to contact. A head of revenue operations and a sales development representative at the same company need different messages, and some roles should hear nothing at all.
What happens once a deal is live?
#The people involved show up in the work. When a buyer copies a colleague on a thread or brings someone new to a meeting, Orme OS creates a candidate record for that person from the email participants, and the person can be given a role on the deal: champion, economic buyer or technical buyer.
At the start of a pilot, Orme OS also produces a report of what the record is missing, including contacts who are driving a deal but are not in the CRM.
Does Orme buy contact data?
#Not in the current version. Discovery starts from the pages an account publishes about itself and from the conversations already happening. Paid contact lookups only make sense on accounts where a free signal has already fired.
